International Flower Logistics Coordinator
Job opening
International Flower Logistics Coordinator
We’re proud of our heritage: a family business
Are you organised, quick to respond, and comfortable working in an international environment? We’re looking for an International Flower Logistics Coordinator to help organise the daily export and import of fresh flowers across Europe and international markets.
You’ll work closely with growers, transport partners, customs agents, and customers to make sure every shipment reaches its destination fresh and on time.
What You’ll Be Doing
As part of our logistics team, you’ll coordinate flower shipments from the moment they leave the grower until they arrive at their final destination.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning daily export and import shipments
- Coordinating with growers and suppliers
- Booking refrigerated transport and air freight
- Preparing shipping and customs documentation
- Monitoring shipments and delivery times
- Communicating with international customers and logistics partners
- Resolving delays or documentation issues
- Maintaining accurate shipment and product records
A Typical Day
No two days in the flower trade are exactly the same. Priorities can change quickly depending on harvests, customer orders, flights, and transport availability.
You might start your morning confirming a shipment with a grower, spend the afternoon coordinating an urgent air-freight delivery, and finish the day making sure tomorrow’s export documentation is ready.
“Flowers don’t wait. Good logistics means staying one step ahead and making sure everyone has the information they need.”
What We’re Looking For
You enjoy bringing structure to a fast-moving environment and aren’t afraid to take responsibility when something needs to be solved.
Ideally, you have:
- Experience in logistics, import/export, or supply-chain coordination.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Confidence working with multiple shipments and deadlines simultaneously.
- Professional English; additional languages are a plus.
- An interest in international trade and fresh products.
Experience in the Flower Industry?
Experience with flowers, plants, or other fresh products is valuable, but not essential. What matters most is that you understand logistics, communicate clearly, and can keep an overview when things get busy.
What We Offer
You’ll join an international business where decisions are made quickly and your work has a visible impact.
- A varied role with plenty of responsibility
- An international working environment
- Direct contact with growers, suppliers, and customers
- Opportunities to develop within international trade
- Competitive salary and benefits
- A friendly and practical team
